I was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Growing up, I loved to read teenage romance novels. I was blessed with a vivid imagination and the ability to tell stories in great detail.

As an adult, I went into photography and graphic design. I loved taking pictures and capturing moments in time forever. Storytelling, in one form or another, has always been my wheelhouse. 

As a teenager, I created a world with characters that I loved dearly. I abandoned that world as an adult and moved on to other things. Eventually, I revisited the world I created many years ago and my characters. I decided to take the story and make it into a book. Having never written a book before, I wasn't sure how it would go.

The moment I sat down to write, the story started pouring out of me. That one book turned into two, and a series was born. My love of dance is what inspired my books and how The Dancer Series was created. My genre quickly changed from romantic suspense to crime thrillers. I've been having so much fun writing them as spinoff books of my series. It truly is my favorite genre.

I'm the mom of a blind Alaskan Malamute named Dasher. I love iced tea, chocolate, pizza, the beach, seashells, summer, and true crime.
